Summary:

Whitebeard has finally entered the battle and he is demolishing the marine giants with his quake fruit ability!
His quake affects the whole island and the oceans around them except for the execution platform where the three admirals stand guards.
Just as Luffy is about to make it on to the plaza, the encircling wall surrounds all the pirates. However, one part of the wall has been blocked by Oars’ body.
Regardless, Akainu’s begin his rain of magma on the pirates and the icy plain they stand on!
The old man is definitely pissed!

Whitebeard’s doing everything expected of him, and that’s kicking marine ass!
The page with Squad may suggest he might do something outrageous to redeem himself, whatever it is, there is a high chance that he’ll die while doing it.
Needing three admirals just to hold off Whitebeard’s power just shows how strong he is.
The magma shower will probably be stopped by Whitebeard or Jimbei in the next chapter, or Oda may be looking to use this opportunity to reduce the pirates and allow him to focus on the main characters more.
The last page does bring up an issue about their escape route, if the full effects of Akainu’s magma shower are felt, I doubt there will be any pirate ships left that can sail them out of there after they get Ace.
Based on how the marines talked about it, I do think Oars’ body is the key to the pirates advancing in the coming chapters.

Things just went from bad to worse for the pirate, but fret not there is still ‘Ice Witch’ White Bay! I bet she can do something about it. Freezing the meteor and creating foothold for the pirates, yea?
Could she be the winning chance that Whitebeard is talking about?
He seems to be appreciating the meteor volcano in the second last panel though. Maybe he will take advantage of the loop holes that Oars Jr. had created for him.
Or perhaps Squad can create a giant vortex to divert the meteor to elsewhere, somewhere like the platform would be nice.
Whatever it is, it is time to show the marines what the New World and Whitebeard’s captains are made of.
I mean come on; there are still whole lots of captains out there who have not shown their abilities yet. It would be a waste not to showcase them in time of crisis like this.
Is Whitebeard the only one holding his cool?
