Ultraman King Voiced By Ex-Prime Minister Of Japan

Few people ever lead a country. Fewer have led superhero families.


But for the ex-prime minister of Japan, Junichiro Koizumi, he has done both. Ever since retiring in 2006 after leading Japan for more than five years, Koizumi has appeared on mangas and animes. One example is Hideki Ohwada’s Mudazumo Naki Kaikaku, a manga about Koizumi versing the likes of Putin, Bush and Kim Jong-il in Mah Jong as a form of politics.


His most recent appearance in the entertainment scene is a voice acting role, his first ever, as Ultraman King in Daikaijū Battle: Ultra Ginga Densetsu The Movie (Giant Monster Battle: Ultra Galactic Legend The Movie).


For those that aren’t familiar with the classic Ultraman franchise, Ultraman King is the elder of the “Ultra family” that fights ultra monsters to save the world! This man has done it all!


The live-action Ultraman film will be released on December 12 in Japan at the end of this year.
