One Piece, Chapter 560: The Prisoners Of Impel Down

Luffy… he’s just too clueless

Summary:
Coverpage – Zoro and Perona crosses path with an unknown swordsman. Will Zoro have to draw his blade so soon again?


Luffy bear hugs Hancock in delight as she hands him the key to Ace’s handcuffs. Onlookers were stunned as they mistook his hug as an attack which has left Hancock on the ground gasping.


Before Hancock could fully contemplate the idea of marriage after such a tight hug, she was forced to stop Smoker from pursuing Luffy by breaking Smoker’s jutte with a kick.


Meanwhile, Luffy runs to Ivankov who is still confused by Doflamingo’s words about Kuma. Doflamingo further elaborate, saying that the government has turned Kuma into a perfect human weapon.


In anger, Ivankov performs an outrageous attack of multiple death winks called ‘Galaxy wink’.


Not too far away, Buggy and his newfound crew charges into battle while Crocodile continue to try and kill Whitebeard. He is stopped by Diamond Jozu, who was then stopped by Doflamingo before he could attack Crocodile again.


Mihawk stands in Luffy’s path and prepares to attack!




Lesson: Never get an okama piss.

Who is Zoro going to face? Knowing Oda, it might be a character that we already know. Time for Zoro to level up!


This week’s chapter can be split into two parts: Luffy x Hancock and Ivankov x Kuma.


I don’t really want to delve into the Luffy Hancock pairing, but Oda is really using every chance he gets to joke about it. In fact there has been a fair few gags about Hancock in the past few chapters.


On the other hand, we get to see Ivankov’s sadistic side towards Kuma, maybe Kuma used to enjoy it…


Didn’t quite expect Crocodile and Doflamingo to team up, but in hindsight, I guess their do have matching personalities. Does that mean Doflamingo is after Whitebeard’s head or is he just looking for a strong nakama?


As for the coming encounter between Mihawk and Luffy, someone will probably step in like how Hancock stopped Smoker. Maybe Marco will stop idling now and do what he was told. After all, it’s more fitting for Zoro to fight Mihawk.


Something to think about: Luffy better be prepared, Hancock’s leg can break Jutte’s…

There is no way Luffy can defeat Mihawk now, he is reserved for Zoro! So this is where Marco will come into the picture and protect Luffy and let him continue his rescue mission.


Or maybe Buggy’s strategy is to take down a Shichibukai? He definitely has got an advantage in fighting Mihawk as he cannot be cut.


Besides, he is just behind Luffy, he’ll be able to stall time for him.


I don’t see how Doflamingo and Crocodile’s attacks will affect Jose. So maybe Doflamingo also has an issue with Whitebeard and he is joining force with Crocodile, controlling Jose, to fight Whitebeard.


Or will Inazuma cut free Jose?


I am sure Iva will work something out with Kuma. He is the ‘Miracle Person’, he will regain Kuma’s conscience.


And maybe that is the reason why Kuma agreed to be modified; he knew Iva is going to bring him back.


And where are the Admirals? Are they involved in Sengoku’s plan?



That’s the second “Hawkeye” doing something dramatic on the last page of the chapter. Can you guess who’s the other?
