~ Shocking news from Japan for the anime/manga community, the creator of Crayon Shin-chan, Yoshito Usui went missing earlier this week after heading off on a solo hike. A body at the bottom of a cliff with clothes that resembles Usui has been found, but it has not yet been confirmed to be Usui’s. [ANN] Update: The body has been identified as Usui’s, it’s a sad day for the manga world…


~ If you’ve been thinking about renovating your room to be more ‘otaku’, then you can probably take some inspiration from the latest ‘Otacool’ magazine that features the likes of Danny Choo’s room! [Danny Choo]


~ Oricon’s Monitor Research has conducted a survey on which manga series people would like to see continued. Slam Dunk came in first with Hana Yori Dango and Dragonball following after. Death Note came fourth, which I can’t really see happening but I do agree with the top 3. [Mangahelpers]
