Student Kills Burglar With Katana

No word on whether he’s a fan of zoro yet, but we do know that a John Hopkins University student delivered a blow with his samurai sword that nearly severed a burglar’s hand. The burglar soon died at the scene.


The student’s off-campus residence was already broken into earlier on Monday, so his anger is understandable. The burglar also had 29 prior convictions. Still, it’s not every day that you hear a samurai sword being wielded against an intruder.


The police are still gathering evidence and has not decided whether this is a case of self-defense or murder.
