No More Tuna By 2012

Tuna, a delicacy in many Eastern countries, especially in Japan will be wiped out in as little as 3 year’s time!


Environmental groups warns: By 2012, Tuna may cease to exist in our oceans due to overfishing. Imagine, to never be able to devour another sashimi or tuna sushi again in three years time! The World Wildlife Foundation says the only way to prevent the extinction of the Atlantic bluefin tuna is to stop all fishing activities during the months of May and June, which is when the tunas swim to the Mediterranean to spawn and it is also the main fishing season.


As the fishing season begins, many fisheries are treating it as business as usual despite the present tuna population calamity. Demand for tuna in Japan for sushi has also not fallen, who can blame them, it tastes so good. But, someone better think of a plan fast or sayonara tuna!

   One way to save the tuna, dont buy it, as demand decreases, overfishing will decrease.
