Toddler Destroys Tibetan Monks’ Sand Art, Test Their Virtues.

Buddhist sand art test the monks’ concentration, patience and make them realise an inevitable truth — life is fleeting, nothing is permanent.


But I bet these Tibetan monks weren’t expecting their sand art to be fleeting so quickly, especially when it was only half completed. The trial of the monks’ virtues come in the form of a toddler who thought the sand art was a ’sand box’. However, as expected of these monks, they took it very well and just started over again without a whimper or complaint.


The sand art was to raise donations for the refugee Tibetan monks who now resides in India.
