Yakitate!! Japan in Singapore
Yakitate!! Japan has landed in the lion city of Singapore as part of the promotion by Animax! The anime series will premiere on Singapore television on November 28 and to prepare Singaporeans for the event, Breadtalk, a Singaporean Bread store chain (Something like Phantasia for Yakitate fans) will be selling a range of bread that’s true to the ‘Yakitate’ way!
Two buns sell for S$2.50 (about US$1.73) in a BreadTalk sale that runs from November 5 to November 30. The anime will run in Singapore every weekday at 8:00 p.m. - ANN
For those that have not heard of the anime, the plot is based on Azuma Kazuma who’s a boy that is great at baking and aims to create ‘Ja-Pan‘, a national bread for Japan.
